Wedding videographers at Parklands Quendon hall
We were shooting both a wedding film and photography at Parklands Quendon hall on this early spring wedding of Louise and Lorenzo . The ceremony it’s self was being held at the stunning st Mary’s church in Saffron Walden. It’s the biggest church in Essex and a real cracker, the only downside being the vicar is a bit strict and you have to stand to the side and behind the bride and groom during the ceremony. Not great, I couldn’t even stand at the front to get the bride walking down the isle. I shot here once before and managed to get away with it but this time the vicar was having none of it.

It’s a joy shooting both wedding film and photography at Parklands as the venue is simple packed with character. As a Parklands recommended supplier I’m here on a regular basis and though I do have some favourite rooms and places to shoot I’m always finding new and great little spots that make a great shot.

The drawing room is a favourite of mine for the bride and groom portraits at Parklands Quendon hall. Also if the weathers not great outside we can always shoot some classy family portraits in the drawing room, it has a very regal feel to it. When shooting both wedding films and photography the videographer and I will work together, I will usually set up a shot then the cameraman may come in after to get his shots. We try and keep it natural and not take to long so you can get back to your guest and enjoy the day.

Though very early spring it was a glorious day so it was drinks outside. We had shot a few family photos at the church so it was time to relax then just the big group shot before going through to the wedding breakfast. I do love the speeches part of the day, it’s a great time to get more shots of the family and guests in a natural and reportage style. Everyone’s had a tipple or two and the vibe of the day is nice and relaxed.
Here’s another recent Parklands wedding film we shot this year.
As you may have guessed by the the grooms name ‘Lorenzo’ he’s Italian and so was all his side of the guests and family.. Now let me tell you the Italians know how to party that’s for sure. Now I do some lively weddings but let’s face it we English can be a bit reserved at times.
This Parklands wedding kicked straight off from the first dance and was in full swing as we left after a what was a wonderful day shooting both the wedding film and photography at Parklands Quendon hall. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch via our contact page to check our availability.
