The Night Yard Wedding
We’ll admit it: we have a soft spot for barn weddings. There’s just something so romantic about rustic charm and fairy lights. So when we arrived for Connie and Jack’s The Night Yard wedding, we knew we were in for a treat. This hidden gem in the heart of Kent is everything you could want in a wedding venue: beautiful, intimate, and filled with character.
But it wasn’t just the venue that stole our hearts. Connie and Jack are one of those couples that just radiate joy. Their love for each other is infectious, and we felt privileged to be a part of their special day.
A Church Ceremony Filled with Emotion (and a Few Jokes!)
The ceremony, held in a picturesque church, was a beautiful blend of tradition and personal touches. Connie looked absolutely radiant as she walked down the aisle, and Jack’s face lit up the moment he saw her. The vows were heartfelt and sincere, many tears were shed.
And then there were the speeches. The father of the bride had everyone laughing with his hilarious childhood stories about Connie (apparently, she was quite the diva!). But it was the heartfelt tributes to the couple that really got us. It is clear that Connie and Jack are surrounded by an incredible amount of love and support.

First Looks, Father-Daughter Dances, and a Whole Lot of Love
One of our favourite moments of the day was the series of “first looks.” First, Connie shared a special moment with her father, followed by an emotional encounter with her bridesmaids and mother. The love and excitement were palpable, and we were honored to capture these precious memories on camera.
And speaking of precious memories, the father-daughter dance was another highlight. Connie and her dad shared a beautiful moment on the dance floor, and we’re pretty sure there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.

The reception was a blast! Guests danced the night away under the twinkling lights of the barn, and the atmosphere was electric. We loved capturing all the laughter, joy, and spontaneous dance moves (some more impressive than others!).
